    Book 3 in The Sin series This short tale part of the contest was the last puzzle to solve Although I knew I was too late to participate in the contest I still wanted to read this spooky story.In a nutshell Twins brothers are left a mysterious map that would lead them to a secret that will unlock wealth and power.I had a sense of d j vu reading this story I knew what would happen before the events occurred I can t remember where I read something similar, maybe it was developed in the A Book 3 in The Sin series This short tale part of the contest was the last puzzle to solve Although I knew I was too late to participate in the contest I still wanted to read this spooky story.In a nutshell Twins brothers are left a mysterious map that would lead them to a secret that will unlock wealth and power.I had a sense of d j vu reading this story I knew what would happen before the events occurred I can t remember where I read something similar, maybe it was developed in the Arkane series or I simply read it someplace else Having said this, I nevertheless enjoyed the 30 or so pages this short story offered It is written with the expertise Ms Penn is well known for and has provided us a supernatural topic and has delivered it in her usual captivating ways All three books have separate stories and can be read on their own, no need to follow them in sequence

    I listened to the audio book, my first since I was a child.J.F Penn isn t a bad narrator, but I found her voice to be a little monotonous at times It was a decent story though, with a pretty cool ending I battled to get into it for the first five minutes or so, but quickly picked it up after that, once my hearing was attuned to listening to the story and I d stopped fidgeting and fiddling and trying to check e mail while it was going on.It s of course unfair of me to let my difficulty in gett I listened to the audio book, my first since I was a child.J.F Penn isn t a bad narrator, but I found her voice to be a little monotonous at times It was a decent story though, with a pretty cool ending I battled to get into it for the first five minutes or so, but quickly picked it up after that, once my hearing was attuned to listening to the story and I d stopped fidgeting and fiddling and trying to check e mail while it was going on.It s of course unfair of me to let my difficulty in getting into the audiobook affect my rating so it didn t , because I m notoriously unable to concentrate on than one thing at a time.So yeah, pretty good story I liked it

    I wasn t sure what Sins of Treachery was when I opened it and even now I m done, I can t tell view spoiler I suppose you could argue that both of the brothers were treacherous but personally I d say fratricide is a hell of a lot so than just plain greed hide spoiler Either way, I just did not get it I m not even sure it s something you re supposed to get Hmm

    Enjoyed this one as well..just don t know what the life s work is so i was left with an unanswered question That is why it gets 3 stars.
